Ok, what is holiness? A religious sounding word that conjures up images of stain glass windows, somber organ music, some guy in a robe surrounded by burning candles? His job it to tell everyone what they shouldn't do if they want to be holy, but the list of "shouldn't" impossible for any of us to keep.
We go away wondering how in the world anyone can ever be holy enough to get close to God?
If we know we can't do the holy thing, what hope is there to ever know God? Well, that's what we are talking about this coming Sunday. What hope is there for any of us?
Hello Pastor Bob,
I just wanted to take the time to say a Big Thank You for being the kind of pastor that you are. What I mean is that you speak the truth...even if it hurts. The world could use more pastor's like your self. I loved this weekends message.I am very excited to see everyone get in touch with the sin in our own lives and let God help us clean it up. When you have a church that loves God so much they can't help but want to live for him and live by his word. God loves when his children want to draw near to him and in return he will draw near to them.
My family has been coming to your church for a few months...I just wanted you and Susan to know how blessed we have been....with the worship and the word you have presented to your church.
Thank You So Much!
Blessings,
Tina
